Provincial Park
Mactaquac Provincial Park is a year-round recreational facility consisting of a 300-site campground, two supervised beaches, two marinas, numerous nature trails, a Championship Golf Course, a day use area called York Centennial Park and a new activity called TreeGo. TreeGo, a fun activity for everyone, has been added to the Provincial Park within the last few years and consist of the following: Fun, freedom and personal reward are what TreeGO is all about. These aerial adventure courses offer a diverse and exciting experience within the comfort of knowing you’re attached to continuous safety cables. No matter your age or fitness level, our courses are designed for your pleasure in a unique outdoor environment.

Conveniently located within the campground is the Camper’s Convenience Store and Canteen offering groceries, propane, firewood and laundromat services. You will also find a recreation centre, kitchen shelters, washroom facilities (with hot showers) and a mini-golf course at the campground.

When winter sets in, come out to enjoy our skating ponds, sliding hills, cross country ski trails, sleigh rides and snowshoe trails. The ponds and the hills are open nightly until 10:00 pm and sleigh rides are booked in advance. For the truly adventurous, winter camping is also available.

Discover the beauty of this 500-hectare masterpiece along one of the several walking trails (one is wheelchair accessible) or spend the day on the beach; you can windsurf, canoe, fish and/or have a picnic.

A good game of golf can be played at our Championship Golf Course with golf lessons available at our Practice Range upon request.

For your next meeting why not reserve the Mactaquac Lodge? The Lodge is located near the golf course and is available by appointment only. We offer licensed dining in a large Scandinavian design lodge.
